All you have to do to join is come
to a rehearsal and try it.
We usually practice every Monday night, except when we have a concert, so please check our concert schedule first, then show up! We also sometimes change which room we use, so please email urbandale_band@yahoo.com to let us know you plan on coming.
We welcome adult musicians of all ages and abilities. Even if your instrument has been in storage for many years, we would welcome you to come and try us out.
Come a little early to introduce yourself, put together your instrument and gather the music…and tell a joke if you’re in the mood!

Franklin Junior High
Swing Band starts at 6:15 p.m. Concert Band starts at 7:15 p.m.
Rehearsals are at Franklin Junior High, 48th and Franklin Avenue in Des Moines.
ROOMS: Watch emails for which room each rehearsal. Auditorium Room 135 – Use the South doors
and walk down the hallway to the right. Or if you have large equipment you can use the NE Door which has a ramp.
Room 148 – this is the large room at the very southwest corner of the building. Park in the south lot and enter the solid double doors at the far SW corner of the building.
